Based in Toronto, Howl & Roar Records was born out of a desire to make the comedy album world more reflective of the diversity in the industry, and thus creating a more accessible community in the comedy industry.
Howl & Roar Records is a female centric comedy record label that seeks to empower artists and help different voices and perspectives be heard.
Headed by Sirius XM radio host and former comedian, Allison Dore, Howl & Roar understands artists unique perspectives and amplifies voices in entertainment.
Allison has shared her story of battling mental illness and addiction in order to bring hope to those who are currently struggling, and now looks to give others the same opportunity to share their story.

Founded in 2016 by Matthew Surina, Hub Of The Hammer started with the coordination of live trivia, game, and stand-up comedy nights for local businesses and venues. Using their expertise, Hub Of The Hammer also works with groups in the community to coordinate large-scale events and festivals, as they are co-ordinating with Rae Lockdust to bring you The Uncloseted Comedy Pride Festival 2023.
